The current environment of the world amidst a global pandemic has severely impacted the populations health, physically and mentally. Karen Walker Johnson, Change Catalyst in Healthcare recently addressed the critical need for companies, more specifically boards, to invest in their workers’ mental health. Boards need to ensure their employees’ mental health does not deteriorate through prevention techniques, and if they do, allocate the resources necessary for an employee to heal during these challenging times. Karen defends the idea that the individual success of an employee impacts the success of the company as a whole.
